The MOSAiC expedition in the Arctic Ocean is currently on everyone's lips. It is the largest research expedition of its kind so far: The "Polarstern", a research vessel of the Alfred Wegener Institut, Helmholtz-Zentrum für Polar- und Meeresforschung in Bremerhaven, Germany, is collecting measurement data near the North Pole for almost a year. Among other things, the data shall provide information on the current state of climate change and enable better forecasts in the future. Werum is also on board with its DSHIP and DMS systems, with which the many data recorded every day are collected, linked and prepared for visualization.
